Shakespeare's most famous ROMEO AND JULIET

Written in 1597 by William Shakespeare one of the most famous leterary works to ever surfaced The  Romeo and Juliet . 

 This play is set in Renaissance Verona in Italy.  The Elizabethan imagination that would have presented a picture of heat, quick tempers and violence and also anger and judgement .

It is a play if love and affection and hate anger disappointment etc .

Some interesting facts about the character Romeo and Juliet are .. 

 Romeo and Juliet are  based on an Arthur Brooke poem.  It wasn't always called Romeo and Juliet. The first publication of Romeo and Juliet is thought to be an unauthorized version of the play The ending of Romeo and Juliet was hardly a surprise. Juliet is just 13 years old.

                     The couple's courtship was indeed a whirlwind. There is no balcony in Romeo and Juliet's "balcony scene. "It wasn't until 1662 that a woman played the role of Juliet. One writer dared to give Romeo and Juliet a happy ending. One theater director eliminated Rosaline from the play altogether. Romeo has become shorthand for a male lover.
